23rd and 24th June, real summer refreshment waits for you in the Multimedia Center Veneranda on island Hvar. With the shelter of the pine trees, the sound of the sea and within the walls Veneranda this summer we have prepared 6 theatre plays. The goal is to provide a special experience for all visitors, especially the local audience, and present a multimedia center transformation into a cultural center.
The first performance is scheduled on 23rd June. Under the stars, the Cirkorama from Zagreb will present their circus experience in the performanse caller “No doubt”, The show has been performed on a series of street art festival and the festival of urban culture in Croatia.

On Sunday, 24 June, on the “boards, which means life”, within the walls Veneranda, there will be a ballet performance as the anniversary of 400 years of folk theater in Hvar.” Organised by the Ballet Studio and Hvar Town it has a humanitarian character, so that the contribution of all the tickets to donate to the Red Cross help in treating seriously ill girl from Hvar. In all – evening programe, ballet soloists and leaders form Split will performe as guests. Also, a concert will be attended by Director of Ballet Theatre Split, Almira Osmanović.
In addition to these performances, Theatre Merlin, in July, will play four performances at Veneranda.

Under starry skies and in warm summer nights, the goal is to bring theatre to everybody, especially the youth, because this kind of art brings together the possibility of improving society, and this optimism in art must be brought to our everyday lives.
