Some 8 km east from the city of Hvar on the south shore of the island of Hvar is situated the picturesque cove Dubovica, a well known picnic area with a spacious pebble beach and interesting underwater landscape. To the bay Dubovica you can get by a boat from the Hvar’s harbour and by a car. In the Dubovica bay there is a summer residence of one patrician family from the 17th century.
